Xiaomi will launch the world’s first 150MP camera smartphone

As revealed by IceUniverse, Samsung has just completed the process of developing a 150MP camera sensor for smartphones. However, Samsung will not be the first manufacturer in the world to launch a smartphone with a 150MP camera, but it is Xiaomi. Through the recently signed partnership between Samsung and Xiaomi.

Previously, Samsung and Xiaomi also cooperated to develop the first 108MP camera sensor in the world. Samsung is working hard to develop camera sensors with higher dots, and smaller dimensions.

Xiaomi will use Samsung’s 150MP camera sensor.

Inside the 150MP sensor, Samsung uses a new technology called Nonacell Technology. This technology enables smaller sized pixels, resulting in sharper and more detailed image quality.

In addition, Samsung’s ISOCELL Plus technology will help enhance the quality of each pixel. Samsung also uses an entirely new material to act as a barrier between the pixels, helping to reduce reflection and light loss.

Not stopping there, Samsung said it also has ambitions to develop a 600MP camera sensor. Even beyond what the human eye can perceive, is said to have a resolution of about 500MP.

Like last year, the launch of the Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro were the first “108” camera phones in the world. This year, Xiaomi will be the first manufacturer to launch a smartphone with a 150MP camera, using Samsung sensors.

After that, Samsung may use the 150MP sensor on its next flagship smartphone. However, the 150MP sensor on Xiaomi smartphones will not be exactly the same as on Samsung’s smartphones.
