Earlier today, Xiaomi confirmed that it will launch Mi 10 Youth Edition and MIUI 12 on April 27. Recently, the company has shared a render of this phone on Weibo, thereby giving us a clearer view of the design of the device just before the launch date.

Although it has the same design as the Mi 10 Lite, the Mi 10 Youth Edition is a bit different in hardware. According render images posted on Weibo, this handset will be equipped with periscope cameras (Periscope) with up to 50x zoom capabilities, which do not have on the Mi 10 Lite ever launched in Europe last month.

At the present time, it is still not clear the specifications of the remaining sensors in the rear 4 camera clusters. Perhaps, Mi 10 Youth Edition will be equipped with a 48MP main sensor and an ultra-wide 8MP camera similar to Mi 10 Lite. However, it is unclear whether the final camera will be a 5MP macro sensor or a 2MP depth sensor.

In addition to the camera changes, it is likely that the Mi 10 Youth Edition will have the same specifications as its sibling. That means the device will use the Snapdragon 765 processor, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 internal memory. In addition, the device also supports dual-mode 5G network connection SA and NSA.

According to the official render image, Mi 10 Youth Edition will have 4 different color variants for the user to choose from. The first variant will have a gradient back that is a combination of white and purple, while the second, third and fourth variants are emerald green, pink and blue.
