Xiaomi shares the official image of the Mi Watch, which is very similar to the Apple Watch

Several hours before the event, Xiaomi shared some official Mi Watch photos. It shows product design from almost any angle.

Like some previous renderings, the Mi Watch comes with a square watch face with a dial and a single button on the right side. This design is considered quite similar to the Apple Watch.

Xiaomi Watch will run a customized version of the Android Wear operating system (called “Mi Wear” OS). The device uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100 chip, supports eSIM, NFC, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth.

A few days ago, the company confirmed that the upcoming Mi Watch can play music independently and users can even optionally download music files to the device’s storage. In addition, Mi Watch also comes with heart rate sensor and smart home control.

Aside from the Mi Band fitness tracker, Xiaomi also has a line of smartwatches under the Amazfit brand, but none of these devices runs Android Wear operating system. So Mi Watch will be the first product to run this operating system from Google.
