Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold is revealed with a similar design to Huawei Mate X

Xiaomi’s folding screen smartphone patent has many similarities with the Mate X

Over the past several months, we have seen Xiaomi register several patents for various solutions. With 4 cameras, a clamshell design, an expandable screen … and Xiaomi’s recent patent has somewhat clarified more information related to the upcoming folding screen smartphone.

The basic design of the device is said to be Mi Mix Fold

It can be seen that Xiaomi’s first folding smartphone (Mi Mix Fold) has a design inspired by Huawei Mate X. Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold has a central hinge that allows you to fold the screen out. The device will have a dual selfie camera module but it is unclear whether it will be designed in the form of a hole in the screen, below the screen or located on one side.

Patent registration documents do not specify the specifications of the device. However, because it is a high-end device, it will most likely use the Snapdragon 865 chip.
