Last year, Xiaomi launched the Fengmi 4K laser projector in China and received quite a lot of positive feedback from users. Recently, the company has just launched an upgraded version of this product, called the Fengmi 4K Cinema Pro.
Fengmi 4K Cinema Pro has a brightness of up to 2400 ANSI lumens, much higher than the brightness of 1700 ANSI lumens on the previous generation. In addition, the maximum screen size is also increased from 100 inches to 150 inches.
According to the manufacturer, Fengmi 4K Cinema Pro supports 4K resolution – 4 times higher than 1080p resolution on conventional projector models. Therefore, it can fully meet the needs of users, displaying sharp content even when projected on a 150-inch screen.
Inside, Fengmi 4K Cinema Pro is equipped with a high-performance Amlogic T972 processor with a maximum clock speed of up to 1.9GHz. The chip is said to be 63% more efficient, with 55% less power consumption than the Amlogic T962 chipset used on the previous generation. In addition, this is also the first chipset to support 8K video decoding.
To ensure that Fengmi 4K Cinema Pro can handle tasks smoothly, the manufacturer has integrated this projector with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It is equipped with 3 HDMI 2.0b ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 network port, 1 S / PDIF optical port and 2 3.5mm ports.
Fengmi 4K Cinema Pro uses a super short lens design with a large depth of field of 0.23: 1, so users can completely put it on the TV cabinet to project images on a large screen from 80 to 150 inches.
In addition, thanks to ALPD 3.0 laser fluorescence display technology, the red light ratio will be kept at 16-18% and help reproduce more natural colors. Projector lamp life of up to 25,000 hours, corresponding to about 10000 films.
Fengmi 4K Cinema Pro is currently being sold on Xiaomi’s Youpin crowdfunding platform, retailing for 12799 yuan (about 41.5 million dong). For comparison, this price is a little higher than the previous version of Fengmi 4K, sold for 10999 yuan.
