Xiaomi is quite a famous brand when it comes to power banks for smartphones, at least in Asia. After more than a year since the launch of the Mi Power Bank 3, the company recently launched a new power bank, called the Mi Power Bank 3 Pocket Edition.
As the name suggests, Mi Power Bank 3 Pocket Edition is a compact product, easier to pocket than other models in the series. It only weighs around 200 grams and has physical dimensions of 90 x 63.9 x 24.4mm.
Xiaomi’s new power bank has a capacity of 10000mAh, supporting a maximum output charging capacity of 22.5W. In addition, it is also capable of charging at slower levels such as 18W, 15W, 12W, 10W and low power mode for wireless headphones, fitness bracelets or smartwatches.
In terms of connectivity, Mi Power Bank 3 Pocket Edition has 2 USB-A output ports, 1 USB-C port for both input and output, as well as a MicroUSB input port. All three output ports support a maximum charging threshold of 22.5W (PD – Power Delivery). Meanwhile, users can charge the power bank through the USB-C input at up to 24W.
Last but not least, the product has a shell made of PC + ABS plastic with high explosion resistance and is safe for the user, and comes with a single color option, white.
Selling price and time of release
The Mi Power Bank 3 Pocket Edition power bank is currently only limited to China, with a retail price of 99 yuan (about 350,000 VND). It is not clear if Xiaomi intends to launch it in other markets.
