Xiaomi launched a new mechanical keyboard: 87-key design, TTC switch, priced at 1 million

Xiaomi has launched the first generation of Yuemi mechanical keyboard with 87 keys in October 2016, with a price of 299 yuan (about 995,000 VND). Later, the company continued to introduce an improved version with 104 keys for 329 yuan (~ 1.1 million), as well as Yuemi Mechanical Keyboard Pro Silent Edition for 599 yuan (about 1.9 million).

Recently, Xiaomi has launched the second generation Yuemi mechanical keyboard in China. This keyboard retains the 87-key design and retains the retail price of 299 yuan (about 995,000 VND). It has an aluminum alloy casing, ABS plastic keycap and TTC switch.

The product has a physical size of 358 x 128 x 31.6mm and weighs 940 grams. It possesses a 6-layer design with H32 aluminum alloy steel case, has good finishing, high strength and higher abrasion resistance.

The second generation Yuemi mechanical keyboard is equipped with LED lights with 4 different levels. It uses built-in 32-bit ARM controller chip, 1ms response time and can recognize 11 keys simultaneously when pressing at the same time.

Xiaomi’s new keyboard uses a USB Type-C port and can connect to other devices easily without having to install too much. Currently, the product is being sold on Xiaomi’s Youpin crowdfunding platform for 299 yuan (about 1 million dong).
