Xiaomi launched a 100W wireless charging dock, priced at only VND 2.1 million

Xiaomi has just launched a new wireless charging dock with a maximum capacity of up to 100W, fully called Mi 100W Wireless Charging Stand. Basically, this is considered an upgraded version of the 80W charging dock that the company introduced in March, although there is not too much difference in design compared to the previous generation.

Xiaomi’s new 100W wireless charging dock, model number MDY-13-EL, has a dominant black tone and yellow accents – while the older 80W version (MDY-13-ED) is a combination of white and silver. Of course, users can still place the device they want to charge on the charging dock both vertically and horizontally.

Except for supporting a larger charging capacity, Xiaomi’s 100W wireless charging pad still has the same parameters as the 80W model, including support for Qi wireless charging, dual charging coil design and cooling fan. only works when needed. Even, both are included with a 120W Xiaomi charger and a 6A USB charging cable inside the box.

In terms of features, the new model adds an extra layer of current calibration protection. In addition, it also has the same over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature, foreign object detection and electrostatic protection as the 80W version.

Among Xiaomi’s current smartphone models, only Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra and Mi MIX 4 can use the “Super Fast Wireless Charging” feature. Simply put, these phones can charge wirelessly with a maximum output of 67W and 50W.

Xiaomi said that Mi MIX 4 with a 4500mAh battery, supporting 50W wireless charging, can be fully charged in just 28 minutes if using its new 100W wireless charging pad.

As expected, Mi 100W Wireless Charging Stand will officially hit shelves in China from August 16, with a listed price of 599 yuan (about 2.1 million dong).
