Xiaomi Buds 3 launched: With active noise cancellation, Hi-Fi Audio, 32 hours battery, priced at 1.8 million

At the Xiaomi 12 series launch event, Xiaomi also introduced a new headset model called Xiaomi True Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones 3 (the name is translated from Chinese), or Xiaomi Buds 3 for short. This is the version. The standard of the Xiaomi Buds 3 Pro headset launched not long ago, has an almost similar design but has a cheaper price.

Xiaomi Buds 3 basically has the same charging box design as the Pro version when covered with a matte matte finish that is scratch-resistant and fingerprint-proof. There are two color options for users to choose from, white and black.

Xiaomi Buds 3 has an in-ear headphone design, using a 14-point curved design, each earbud weighs 4.6g, comfortable to wear on the ear. The eartips are finished in silicone, are hypoallergenic, and are IP55 water resistant. Each earbud has a force sensor used to manipulate the headset, which can activate functions such as switching songs or switching listening modes.

Xiaomi also integrates the Buds 3 headphones with active noise cancellation with the ability to cancel noises up to 40dB. There are three levels of noise cancellation: basic, balanced, and advanced. The headphones are also resistant to wind noise.

The Xiaomi Buds 3 headphones support Hi-Fi Audio, fine-tuned by Mi Golden Ear at Xiaomi’s lab. According to Chinese reviewers, this headset offers realistic sound quality and is capable of reducing distortion, similar to the Pro version. The standard version does not support the Spatial Audio feature.

In terms of battery life, Xiaomi Buds 3 has a 38mAh battery for each earphone and 480mAh for the charging case. According to Xiaomi’s announcement, the headset can provide 7 hours of listening with a single charge and 32 hours when used with the charging case.

In terms of price, Xiaomi Buds 3 will be on sale in the Chinese market from December 28 for 499 yuan, equivalent to 1.8 million dong.
