Recently, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will soon launch the all-new Redmi Note 11 series with many notable upgrades. One of the key upgrades highlighted by Xiaomi in this year’s Note generation comes from fast charging, when the company will bring 120W super fast charging technology to the mid-range Note 11 series.

This information is confirmed by Xiaomi through a “teaser” poster for the Redmi Note 11 series that is about to be launched on October 28. It is currently unclear which version will be equipped with 120W fast charging technology, most likely the Pro or Pro + version because Xiaomi tends to launch from 2 to 3 versions in a Redmi Note line.

Previously, the Redmi Note 10 series was launched by Xiaomi with a 5G Pro version, equipped with Dimensity 1100 processor and 67W fast charging support. With a faster 120W capacity, this will also be the first time Xiaomi brings super-fast charging technology to mid-range models. Currently, Xiaomi’s cheapest smartphone that supports 120W fast charging is the newly launched Xiaomi 11T Pro, and the first smartphone equipped with this fast charging technology is Mi 10 Ultra.

Besides, from the image “teased” by Xiaomi, we can also see that the new Redmi Note 11 series will have a square-shaped frame similar to the iPhone. This will probably be a new design trend that will appear on many Chinese smartphones in the near future.
