According to the latest information, Microsoft has created a new tool, allowing users to install new features on the system. As a result, users will no longer need to wait for major updates to launch in the spring and autumn as before.
Every year Windows 10 users often have to wait for two major updates. Each update brings new, whimsical features to the interface. However, it seems that Microsoft is actively changing this to bring more convenience to users.
Recently, Microsoft has developed a new solution, helping to create more flexible updates. For example, the features of the November 2019 update will be available as an update option.
By doing this, Microsoft will allow users the option to install the features they want instead of having to accept to use all the new features.
Certainly, Microsoft will continue to pursue this solution by 2020 through a new tool for users. The tool is called the Windows Feature Experience Pack and allows access and retrieval of individual packages in Windows 10 updates on the Microsoft Store.
It is known that the tool will install new features on Windows regardless of major updates mainly focused on the core of the system.
This trend is expected to be applied by Microsoft to updates aimed at users of the Windows Insider program, especially the Fast Ring branch.
So by 2020, new Windows features will no longer be part of a major update. Insider users can even experience new features soon after Microsoft releases. Microsoft will continue to provide feedback to all users through the Windows Feature Experience Pack tool.
