Until the appointment again, at 10:00 am on September 14 (ie 0:00 on the night of September 15 in Vietnam time), Apple will officially broadcast the new product launch event online. Promising product lines include the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7, in addition to the possibility that a new iPad will also be revealed.
According to last minute rumors, iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will start with 128GB memory option replacing the previous 64GB minimum memory. Meanwhile, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will have a 1TB storage option for the first time.
Last-minute rumors about the iPhone 13 currently revolve around color options.
As is known, the iPhone 13 will seem to have a similar design to the iPhone 12 with a smaller notch. Improvements are expected to focus on iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max with ProMotion professional shooting ability, combining font removal with 120Hz refresh rate screen.
In the latest report, the iPhone 13 is likely to have satellite calling unlocked via a software update in the future. This function will allow users to make emergency calls and text messages in case there is no telecommunications signal.
Apple Watch Series 7
With Apple Watch Series 7, Apple is expected to have a design makeover for the first time since 2018. Rumors suggest that this smartwatch will have a rounded edge design with a new 41mm watch face and 45mm compared to 40mm and 44mm before.
In addition to the health care feature, there are still no new rumors about this year’s Apple Watch. Apple said it is working on updating available features including measuring blood oxygen levels and reminding when the heart rate is high.
Besides iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7 is also expected with a new design and larger size.
Last minute rumors suggest that due to the new design slowing down the production process, the Apple Watch Series 7 may not appear with the iPhone 13 during the September 14 event or appear, but will not be able to order immediately.
New iPad mini and iPad
While the iPad Pro was upgraded with the M1 chip earlier this year, Apple may still be hiding two new iPad models. One of them is an iPad mini with an A15 chip like the iPhone 13 and a new iPad with an A13 chip. The current 10.2-inch iPad model is powered by the A12 Bionic chip.
The iPad mini model is rumored to have thinner bezels and no Home button. Apple is expected to announce new iPad models in the fall, but it’s currently unclear if the event will fall in September, October or November.
Accompanying the new product, Apple is likely to also officially announce the release date for the software versions. Those are iOS 15, watchOS 8, tvOS 15, and macOS Monterey that were introduced at the past WWDC event and are still in beta testing.
