What does this F1 racing simulator system have that costs up to 3 billion VND?

Formula 1 (F1) racing is a passion of many people but few can experience it in reality. Instead, people often choose to live with passion through games, but the controller, or even the game steering wheel, can not bring the feeling of reality.
However, a company in the UK has created an F1 simulator that they say will feel as realistic as possible. Axsim is a subsidiary of Cranfield Simulation, part of UK-based Cranfield Aerospace Solutions.

This is a company specializing in creating aircraft simulation systems for military training. Over the past 30 years, they have created 130 simulators for aircraft including the F-16, F-18, Tornado and Eurofighter Typhoon.
Subsidiary Axsim aims to simulate Formula 1 racing, using jet technology to give users the experience closest to the racers. The company even supplies simulators to F1 teams, Nascar and other racing teams around the world.

One of the key components of the system is the motion-sensing seat, which is designed to conform to the user’s body shape.

It uses electric actuators to reproduce the changes in visibility and traction that occur during acceleration, as well as the pressure in front and rear motion. Meanwhile, the compressed air bags in the seat belt will inflate to regenerate G-Force.

“Multiple airbags expand and contract to provide pressure, simulating G-forces during cornering, braking and acceleration,” says Axsim. This technology is drawn from our extensive experience in the aerospace industry.”
The steering wheel simulates what you would see in a real F1, made of ultra-durable polyurethane, has a full-color LCD display with magnetic paddle shifters and more. The system has aluminum hydraulic brake pedals.

If that’s not enough to make you feel like you’re inside a Formula 1 racing car, the high-quality sound will immerse you even more. The system is equipped with dual high-powered speakers, all fine-tuned and positioned with superb precision to put the user on track. There is also a Rega amplifier to enhance the soundstage.
The image section is also extremely important. The display is powered by Samsung, with the option of a 49-inch curved ultra-wide gaming monitor or linking up to three 4K UHD monitors or connecting to others.

With all of that, it would be boring to keep racing alone. Don’t worry, the good news for F1 fans is that the system allows you to race against the machine, as well as against other Axsim owners via online racing, but unfortunately you can’t connect it to Xbox or PlayStation.
This simulation system is really great, so its price is not “modest”. You will have to spend £ 100,000 (more than 3 billion VND) to experience the whole system. There’s also a stripped-down version, stripped of everything, priced at £16,400 (more than VND 500 million).
