Website of Vietnamese Students, Athena center was attacked

At noon on August 5, when accessing the website of Vietnam Student Newspaper at http://svvn.vn/, many readers are not surprised because this website has been attacked by hackers to change the interface.

Instead of the usual newspaper page, the browser screen shows the same image as the "reserved" hacker attack for Vietnam Airlines' system on the evening of July 29. The trace that the hacker left also recorded cn1937.

A representative of this newspaper told VietnamPlus reporter, discovered the website was attacked at 11:20. Currently, the technical department is dealing with troubleshooting.

At 13:45, when accessing the above address, VietnamPlus reporter still saw a hacker image. This proves that troubleshooting is still ongoing.

Yesterday (August 4), the website of the Athena Center for Network Administration and Network Security Training (http://athena.edu.vn/) was also attacked. After Athena recovered, on August 5, the website continued to be attacked to change the interface.

On Athena's home page, the hacker left the news that the "Ba Team" group performed. "The message" of this hacker group is: "We will look at security centers and companies."

At noon 5/8, on my Facebook, Mr. Vo Do Thang, Director of Athena said that the page http://athena.edu.vn/ was accessed normally.

Talking to VietnamPlus reporter, Thang said that anyone is a target of cybercrime. Athena herself has finished processing and has not lost the data.

“Some days we have a hundred attacks. As a precaution, we only have to improve our professional capabilities, build backup measures for ourselves and for Athena's customers, ”Thang said.
