VNGGames becomes the new publisher of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics mode in Vietnam

At the end of the 2022 season, besides the intense matches of the 2022 World Championship, the Vietnamese League of Legends community is also interested in one more issue. That is the information surrounding that Riot Games will officially take over the release of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics mode in Vietnam in particular and Southeast Asia in general.

And recently, Riot Games has made an official announcement about this. Specifically, from January 2023, Riot will take over the release of League of Legends, the multiplayer mode of Southeast Asia, and VNGGames will take over the release of these two titles in Vietnam.

During the publisher transition, Riot Games will launch new LoL servers and TFT mode, which means that Garena’s servers will be down in January 2023. Immediately after starting the transition and linking their accounts in November, players can continue to play League of Legends through Garena’s client until the end of December 31, 2022. Riot Games encourages players to switch their accounts as soon as possible so that the process of experiencing Riot Games titles is least interrupted. At the same time, players who switch account data early will be given attractive in-game welcome bonuses. However, personal data provided to Garena will not be converted.
