Vivo X50 – smartphone with gimbal camera about to open globally

Tram Ho

Like India, global users won’t be on the Vivo X50 Pro Plus. It is a pity, because this Plus model owns the advanced main camera Samung GN1 50MP, 120Hz screen, and the most powerful Snapdragon 865 chipset today.

Instead, what global users get is the regular Vivo X50 and X50 Pro. Both devices have 6.56-inch FHD + OLED displays with 90Hz refresh rate, 2x optical zoom camera, 32MP selfie camera, 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB internal memory, and 33W fast charging.

But the X50 Pro is a slightly better device in terms of features – the name Pro says it all. It has a 48MP main camera with gimbal-style optical image stabilization technology, along with a 5x periscope camera. You will also own a 4,315mAh battery instead of the 4,200mAh battery on the X50.

Vivo X50 Pro

Vivo X50 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor, but it’s unclear what the chipset on the X50 is. The phone was launched in China with the SoC Snapdragon 765G, but when it arrived in India, it only used the Snapdragon 730 processor, which only supports 4G.

Vivo said the two phones will be sold in EMEA and APAC regions in the next 3 months, namely India and Indonesia. The current selling price of Vivo X50 is $ 490. The exact date of the international launch of Vivo X50 series is unknown.
