Virtual reality glasses turn speech into writing

This is a product of a company in the UK. Accordingly, an application can convert speech into words and display it on glasses so that the deaf can see and know what others say.

Josh Feldman has been deaf since birth. He is using augmented reality glasses to read what others say to him.

For the first time, Mr. Feldman was able to talk to someone without looking at their lip movements to understand what they were saying. And thanks to the glasses, Mr. Feldman can also read other people’s words while talking on the phone.

Recently, the company that developed this glasses has announced new features such as voice-to-text in 9 languages.

However, the application running on the glass still encounters some obstacles. The application has difficulty in group chats when many people speak at the same time. The application also needs a fairly quiet environment to work properly. And users also have to overcome the obstacle of having to wear glasses at all times.

There is currently a free version of the app, but users have to pay up to £49.99 per month if they want it for premium features like unlimited conversation history and recognize the speaker. The application is also only available for 14 phone models running the Android operating system.
