Vingroup appoints former Vice President of Volkswagen America as General Director of VinFast worldwide

Vingroup has just announced the appointment of Michael Lohscheller – who used to hold the position of Vice President of Volkswagen America and General Director of Opel Global – as the General Director of VinFast. Mr. Michael Lohscheller will be responsible for expanding business activities and promoting VinFast worldwide.

Mr. Michael Lohscheller will work in Vietnam, directly managing and operating VinFast’s markets today, including Vietnam, the US, Canada, France, Germany and the Netherlands. Michael Lohscheller was born in 1968, German nationality. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration (1992) from the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück (Germany) and the University of Barcelona (Spain).
