Ms. Quy Vo-Reinhard is the co-founder and data director at HIT Foundation, and AI advisor of LAPO Blockchain (Switzerland). She is one of the first 9 members of the “Vietnamese influence world” network.
Ms. Vo Cam Quy (Quy Vo-Reinhard) comes from Biotechnology, University of Natural Sciences. After graduating, she stayed at the Department of Biology and served as deputy dean.
After that, she moved to SISSA (Trieste, Italy) and worked as a PhD at RWTH Aachen University (Germany). She continued her postdoctoral studies at Concordia University (Montreal, Canada), then returned as a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Stuttgart (Germany).
She used to be a lecturer in the field of medicine – computational biology, bioinformatics, biology programming, pharmaceutical manufacturing. After that, she co-founded an enzyme development startup with a young team in Germany. She has 15 years of experience in the field of information technology development in medicine and medicine.
Currently, Ms. Vo Cam Quy is the co-founder and data director at HIT Foundation (Switzerland). She is responsible for using health care information as an asset through various information technology facilities. Sharing her experience in the blockchain field, she said: “I learned about blockchain by reading a lot of books and learning and practicing. My in-depth knowledge comes from many different aspects: from database to machine learning, from high-performance computing to data processing. Big data also helps me improve my knowledge of blockchain. ”
As one of the founding members, she is also involved in the process of selecting partners and fundraising: “The hardest challenge in this job, like in any startup, is that there are too few. people but too many things. Fortunately, we have a great team supporting each other with a clear vision and mission.
“You know, in the future, data is money. HIT Foundation is a global platform, while each country has its own health data and data. We just have to develop a strategy for health data, integrate it into our IT architecture but still have to comply with regulations in different countries. Those are really big challenges. ”
In the short term, HIT Foundation plans to implement this platform globally, focusing on the European and Asian markets. After completing the initial setup program and ending the 5-year extension, this platform will turn into a standalone application.
For his own personal plans, he said she could soon apply blockchain to the supply chain in agriculture. The agricultural sector is currently the most lacking of information, due to lack of interoperability and data that are inconsistent or unavailable.
Moreover, she also intends to start her own project to help women around the world, especially in Vietnam to bridge gender gaps, change society’s perceptions and help women catch publicity. technology. She said: “I want to help Vietnamese women access technology better.”
“I will spend my life trying to contribute to innovation, turning society into a fair, equal place and everyone sharing the same benefits. I hope to build a solution that can help people. About 3.8 billion people currently do not have access to the health care system properly, due to poverty. We (HIT Foundation) hope that we can help the community solve a part of this problem ”- Ms. Vo Cam Quy shared.
Recently, she returned to the country to actively build a blockchain project for health care in Vietnam and has now transferred the technology completely non-profit to two domestic hospitals. She said: “I will forever be Vietnamese. I will try to bring everything I can to the application in Vietnam. Once I wish, I will pursue it with me. ”
Ms. Vo Cam Quy continues to go back and forth between Switzerland and Vietnam to persuade domestic hospitals to apply blockchain technology to care for the poor.
