Users criticize the ‘rabbit ears’ on the MacBook Pro 2021

MacBook Pro 2021 is the biggest change of this laptop line in 5 years. The device receives the return of some old ports such as MagSafe charging, SD card slot, HDMI port and removes the controversial TouchBar feature.

But there is a special point that attracts attention, which is the “rabbit ears”, first available on MacBook. According to Apple, the “rabbit ears” area helps the laptop screen have more area than ever. This is where the 1080p camera is located, doubling the resolution and performance in low light compared to the previous model.

Apple claims that when users watch movies or process 8K videos, the new screen will bring a beautiful cinematic feeling.

Some users, although disappointed with the notch, feel comforted by other upgrades on the MacBook Pro 2021, such as task processing speed. Others accept the “rabbit ears” because of all the plus points such as ports, 120Hz refresh rate screen and XDR.

Some people expressed confusion when the MacBook Pro has a “rabbit ears” even though it does not have a Face ID sensor – the reason the iPhone still retains the “rabbit ears”.
