TIME’s shocking magazine cover: Mark Zuckerberg’s picture comes with the question ‘Do you want to delete Facebook’?

The world’s prestigious TIME magazine has just chosen Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg as the character to appear on the cover of its latest issue. In this cover story, TIME claimed that Facebook is harming children. Facebook’s focus is on making profits rather than protecting its users. In the cover photo of the magazine, the icon to delete the phone application that is displayed on the phone is printed on the background of CEO Zuckerberg.

This latest publication comes at a time when Facebook is facing major criticism from many sides. Accordingly, a former Facebook employee named Frances Haugen repeatedly made big revelations about Facebook. This woman spoke to US lawmakers this week about how the company is profiting from the safety of its users. Haugen also said that people are using the Facebook platform to plan to spread violence, but the company has made little effort to prevent it.

The TIME web publication’s topic article details Facebook’s Civic Integrity team. Accordingly, the decisions of the social media company have disillusioned many key team members. Such people in the company are fighting against misinformation and hatred. Facebook disbanded the group in December 2020, which eventually led to Frances Haugen going public within Facebook.

Billy Perigo, the author of the paper, said: “Whatever direction Facebook takes in the future, it’s clear that discontent is building internally. Haugen’s leaked documents and testimony are helping to tighten regulation. determine and improve quality”.

Earlier this week, Mark Zuckerberg hit back at Haugen’s accusations, saying they were all untrue. “The argument that we intentionally promote content that benefits the company and offends people is very illogical.
