This is the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 – the world’s first folding laptop, using the BOE display

The ThinkPad X1 laptop was first exhibited at an annual sales event in May. The tech giant once again revealed the device during last week's event. This gives reporters a more detailed view of the device's design.

ThinkPad X1
Lenovo laptops feature a 13.3-inch foldable screen supplied by Chinese manufacturer BOE (similar to the screen of Moto Razr). When this device officially launches, perhaps the era of tablets is also in the final stage.

ThinkPad X1
ThinkPad X1 can switch to tablet mode or flip mode (flip mode). In addition, the ThinkPad X1 can be used with a stand or charging dock to combine with a mouse and physical keys.

ThinkPad X1
The ThinkPad X1 is said to weigh around 900 grams and the screen has a 2K resolution. The display prototype has a thick screen bezel and hopefully Lenovo will cut this detail when it is officially released. Also, the display seems to have no folds at the bend point and this is a good signal.
