This is the first Xiaomi Mi 11 that was damaged, in a way that it wanted to turn into a folding phone

Just a week after Chinese tech giant Xiaomi officially sold its flagship Mi 11, a picture of the first damaged product appeared with a rather confusing injury. It is unclear who the real owner of the device is, but the image has spread rapidly on the Chinese social network Weibo.

From the photo, it can be seen that the frame of the Mi 11 is bent back nearly to create a 90 degree angle from the lower part of the camera module. The bend also almost caused the power button to pop, as well as leading to the glass on the back being broken.

Several reasons have been given for the cause of the problem, and some even assume its owner is trying to turn the device into a foldable phone.

Xiaomi Mi 11 is equipped with Snapdragon 888 chip, the first device to use Qualcomm’s latest chip. It also comes with a 2K 120Hz curved display, a 4600mAh battery, supports 55W charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The main camera sensor is HMX 100MP, along with dual stereo speakers Harman Kardon and other features.

Like other flagship Xiaomi models, Mi 11 uses a glass design on both front and back with an aluminum frame in the middle. Xiaomi started selling its latest flagships, the Mi 11, on January 1. Initially, the company said its first sale generated more than 1.5 billion yuan in revenue in just five minutes. The corresponding sales are 350,000 units. However, the latest report from the Chinese technology company that the number of smartphones sold is more than 500,000 units.

For this reason, Xiaomi hosted a celebration party attended by Lei Jun, GM Redmi Lu Weibing and several executives such as Zeng Xuezhong, president of the mobile phone division of Xiaomi Group.

This impressive sales are said to be an affirmation of the brand’s popularity as well as how users prefer the Mi 11. Despite the removal of the charger, a large number of fans Xiaomi still wants to get this accessory. Therefore, the “environmental protection Green Edition” sold only about 20,000 units.
