Leaker Jon Prosser in a new video posted today shared an image of a new Apple accessory, believed to be called “AirTags”. According to what was leaked earlier, Apple AirTags will be a small accessory with controller chips, used to attach to user items and can be tracked through the app. Find My on iPhone.
Rendered images of AirTags accessories coming to Apple soon. The source is not disclosed.
From the image above, we can see that AirTags is a round little object with a size slightly larger than the bottle cap. There is no Apple logo on the front and appears to be made of plastic, while on the back there is an engraved “apple” logo with the “AirTag” name clearly visible. Jon Prosser said that Apple will be selling a separate leather pouch for these AirTags.
AirTags will come with the Apple U1 ultra-wide-band chip. This chip has been integrated on the previous iPhone 11 series as “part of the whole new Apple ecosystem”. Besides improving AirDrop’s data transmission, the U1 chip also helps devices like AirTags to operate extremely efficiently and accurately.
Currently, AirTags has perfected production processes and is ready to launch alongside new Apple products at the event at 0 o’clock tonight (excluding iPhone 12 and AirPods Studio). This event will focus on product lines such as iPad Air 4, iPad 8th, Apple Watch Series 6 … Even a “cheap” version of Apple Watch can also be introduced at this event. .
