The “home-made” chip line Apple Silicon promises to help Apple become the king of the All-in-one series

According to research by Digitimes and based on information from the supply chain, Apple is expected to become an all-in-one supplier in the industry if it can launch products equipped with M1 chips.

And the reason is simple because companies selling AIO cheaply are easily affected for more objective reasons, while high-end brands like Apple are hardly affected.

According to Digitimes , the production of the iMac is “unaffected”. Apple is said to have shipped no less than 860,000 AIO devices in Q4 / 2020, while HP sold a total of 925,000 AIO computers.

With the launch of the M1-powered iMac and expected to hit shelves on May 21, analysts believe it will contribute to a significant increase in sales for Apple. So it is only a matter of time until Apple takes the leading position in the market.

Focus mainly on performance improvement

According to Apple’s own data, the M1-powered iMac is about 85% faster than the standard 21.5-inch model, while also offering twice as much faster GPU performance on certain apps.

“The powerful octa-core CPU in the M1 has the fastest CPU cores but is also very energy efficient. It also has an 8-core GPU with the fastest integrated graphics for a personal computer. “Unified memory architecture, high performance and 16-core Apple Neural Engine processor, the new iMac offers strong performance when compared to the previous 21.5-inch iMac models.”

Additionally, an Apple Silicon-based iMac is capable of editing up to five streams with 4K footage without experiencing any frame drops in the Final Cut Pro app. These will definitely be places to eat money that Apple can confidently show off to customers and dominate the AIO market in the near future.
