Although there are still a few months left before Samsung unveils the new generation Galaxy S series. But early leaks about the Galaxy S series surfaced soon.
As shared by leaker FrontTron on Twitter, the Galaxy S22 series will have an impressive configuration. Specifically, the Galaxy S22 is equipped with a 6.06-inch LTPS screen and the Galaxy S22 Plus will have a 6.55-inch screen. Only the Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to use a 6.81-inch LTPO panel. So the screen size is not too different from the Galaxy S21 series.
Regarding the camera, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus will be equipped with a trio of 50MP main cameras, 12MP ultra-wide-angle cameras and 12MP telephoto cameras.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be equipped with a 108MP main camera, two 12MP telephoto cameras and one super wide-angle camera. In addition, the machine will be equipped with laser autofocus technology.
The two versions of Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus are given a slightly worse battery than the old generation. Specifically, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus will have 3,800mAh and 4,600mAh batteries, respectively, lower than the two models Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus with 4,000mAh and 4,800mAh batteries.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 Ultra variant is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, similar to the current Ultra version. However, the new Galaxy S version is said to remove the camera under the screen.
Samsung is expected to equip the new Exynos 2200 chip for the Galaxy S22 series. The special feature of this machine is that it is equipped with AMD graphics.
Unfortunately, according to the latest leak, the Exynos chip provided for the Galaxy S22 will be very limited because the chip output is at a low level. Therefore, the Galaxy S22 sold in most markets will mainly use the Snapdragon 898 chip and the Adreno GPU.
