The flagship is expensive but the processing quality of Mi 10 Pro is quite bad: The camera glass is inverted, the “mole” spreads out the screen.

Tram Ho

On February 13, Xiaomi officially launched its newest duo of Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro at an event held in China. Both of these phones are heavily upgraded in terms of hardware, although their price is also much more expensive than the previous generation.

After two sales, Xiaomi’s latest flagship phones were sold out just seconds after they hit shelves. Currently, the company has begun shipping to consumers, but it seems that not everyone is lucky after “diving” for sale on a Mi 10 / Mi 10 Pro.

Camera glasses were mounted in reverse, making the words 108MP also “flipped along”, covering the LED flash.

According to a user on Weibo, the Mi 10 Pro that he just received is not the same as the advertisement, accompanied by an extremely silly error. Specifically, the rear camera protective glass on this device is completely reversed, making the 108MP text also “flipped around”, covering the LED flash.

As you can see in the image above, the first sensor of the triple camera setup on the Mi 10 Pro is the main sensor, which is more prominent with a white border. However, due to the back of the camera protection glass, the white border on the Mi 10 Pro version is located on the third camera sensor.

Not only the back, Mi 10 Pro has been complained by many users on Weibo when their phone appeared a rather strange slick located near the “mole” on the front. At the moment, it is not clear whether this is a fault due to the software or screen of these devices has been damaged before.

If it’s simply a software bug, it’s highly likely that it will be easily fixed through a future update. However, if it is really due to a hardware fault, Xiaomi should have a new exchange policy for users.

This is not the first time Xiaomi has sold a faulty device to the market. Earlier, in March last year, a user in China also received a brand new Mi 9 but did not have an LED flash. All you can see on the back of the device is the black background, 3 camera clusters and the white Mi logo below.

Faulty Mi 9 does not have LED flash delivered to users.

It is normal to have a faulty product during mass production, but Xiaomi needs to be scrutinized to make sure they are not mistakenly delivered to the user.
