The Aston Martin logo is laser-etched into the phone’s stainless steel exterior. Like with the SX1, most of the actual branding traits come from preloaded digital content. For example, a ringtone is a recording of a roaring V8 engine for an Aston Martin Vantage.

A “short documentary” was pre-installed, which accelerated the 64 MB integrated memory to its limit and had no card slot. Again, the 8800 is the phone you buy for its nice metal look, not for its ergonomic features.

Motorola RAZR maxx V6 Ferrari

Days after the launch of the super durable Sonim XP3 Enduro, the company announced a partnership with the automaker to introduce the Land Rover S1 and Land Rover S2 G4 in mid-2004.

The Land Rovers is famous for its off-road bikes and the phones that deserve that reputation. The S1 is touted as the world’s first GSM phone with an IP67 rating, which means it is dust and water resistant. But the handset has far surpassed its IP rating.

The machine survived a drop from a height of 2m, spent 30 minutes under a meter of water, and withstanded 400 kg of pressure. It is also puncture resistant (tested at 75 kg / cm²), shock and vibration resistant, and can operate in a wide temperature range, from -20 to +55 C.

Basically, you can drop it into a puddle of mud, drive over then pick it up and make a call. Even that puddle was frozen. All of that is available only for £ 300 and comes with a three-year “unconditional guarantee”.
