Computex 2020 was scheduled to be postponed from June to September. However, the event organizers decided to cancel Computex 2020. The next Computex event will be held on June 2021, miss a year like so many other tech events in 2020.
The Covid-19 pandemic and restricting travel between countries will make it difficult for many to attend the Computex 2020 event in Taipei, China. That’s the reason given by the event organizer in an official announcement article.
In Taipei also has applied isolation measures and travel restrictions, help control the disease. To date, there are 500 cases and 7 deaths from Covid-19.
Computex 2019 has attracted nearly 43,000 visitors from 171 countries, according to the organizers. Computex is not the only technology event to be canceled in 2020 due to the epidemic.
The Mobile MWC 2020 exhibition scheduled to be held in February has also been canceled. The E3 game event scheduled to be held in March is also canceled. The Facebook F8 conference and Google I / O were also canceled because of Covid-19.
