The Apple A13 and A14 chips crushed Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 in the first benchmark test

Qualcomm recently announced the benchmarks of the recently launched high-end Snapdragon 888 chip and is expected to appear on high-end Android smartphones by 2021. For the iPhone 11 Pro equipped with the A13 chip, the device scored 1,331 points in the single-core test and 3,366 in the multi-core test. So perhaps the Snapdragon 888 really only outperformed the A13 in multicore testing, though not by too much.

In addition, Qualcomm also shares benchmark results from graphics testing using the GFXBench tool. Specifically, Snapdragon 888 recorded 86 frames per second, behind iPhone SE, iPhone 11 series and iPhone 12. Anandtech said that Snapdragon 888 can surpass depending on power consumption:
