The report of the Department of Planning and Investment of Thua Thien Hue province said that in 2019, the Department has granted more than 30 investment projects, with a total new registered capital and adjusted capital increase of over VND 22,711 billion, accounting for over VND 22,711 billion. 12% of the total registered capital so far. The investment capital in 2019 is 2.5 times in volume and 2.27 times in registered investment capital compared to 2018.

Of which 20 domestic projects with an investment of about 14,428 billion, 11 foreign investment projects with a capital of about 293 million USD. Up to now, there are more than 200 projects that are being prepared for investment and construction, accounting for 36% of the province’s investment registration.

If only the provincial industrial and economic zones, the Management Board has granted investment policies for 10 projects with a total capital of over VND 9,600 billion, reaching 159% of the plan, with a land area of ​​more than 218 hectares.

At the beginning of 2019, Thua Thien Hue set a target of attracting 15 projects with a total committed capital of VND 10,000 billion, equivalent to US $ 400 million. Accordingly, in 2019, Thua Thien Hue province has exceeded 100% of the plan.

Vinh Thanh tourist area – Hue Amusement and Beach Park is a project of PSH Group in Spain with 100% foreign capital. Construction project at Village 6, Vinh Thanh Commune and Village 3, Vinh An Commune, Phu Vang District. The project has a scale of more than 50 hectares with a total investment of over VND 1,000 billion.

The project consists of a tourism service complex including a hotel, resort villa, entertainment area such as water park, bird garden, commercial area, display and production of handicrafts and travel services. Other with investment scale of 1,000 standard hotel rooms of 4-5 stars, 42 luxury villas and other service complexes. The first phase of the project is expected to implement a hotel complex with 120 rooms.

Kanglongda Hue Factory for Kanglongda International Holdings Limited (Hong Kong) to be the investor. The factory was built on an area of ​​35.6ha in Phong Dien – Viglacera Industrial Park (Phong Dien). The project has a total investment of over VND 4,800 billion, a capacity of 10.08 billion gloves of all kinds / year and 800 tons of polyethylene fibers / year.

The project consists of 3 phases, the implementation period is from 2019 to 2023, of which phase I will be completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 2021, phase II in the first quarter of 2022 and the first quarter of 2023 will put into operation phase III.

Or at the end of 2019, Hue has just started construction of T2 Phu Bai passenger terminal project including: station, roads, car parks and auxiliary items. The total capital is about VND 2,250 billion, invested by the Airport Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).

The building is designed according to Hue royal cultural architecture with overlapping roof layers. Explaining this achievement, Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho – Chairman of the province said: The province always wants to enlist investors with large capital, brand investors, and good governance.
