Surface Go 3 launched: Compact design, Intel Core i3, 11-hour battery, priced from 9.1 million

Microsoft has just launched Surface Go 3 – its latest compact laptop-tablet hybrid model. This is considered a perfect upgrade for the Surface Go 2 introduced last year, owning a new Intel processor with many improvements and impressive battery life.

Surface Go 3 is highly portable at just 544 grams, and comes at the same affordable price as a mid-range Android tablet and Chromebook for education. Like the previous generation, this tablet model is sold with a starting price of 400 USD (about 9.1 million VND).

In terms of specifications, Surface Go 3 has two CPU options, Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y or Intel Core i3-10100Y, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. Microsoft says the new chipset gives the Surface Go 3 60% more performance than its predecessor and an impressive 11 hours of battery life.

The biggest highlight on Surface Go 3 is the ability to switch between tablet and laptop. It features a 10.5-inch touchscreen with an adjustable kickstand and Surface Pen support, so you can draw, write, or sketch as needed with compatible Windows apps.

Surface Go 3 has a 5MP front camera for video calling and an 8MP rear camera. Users can easily access SD memory cards via the built-in MicroSDXC card reader, as well as connect to accessories via the Surface Connect port. For the LTE version, Surface Go 3 also has a nano-SIM tray.

Currently, Microsoft has opened pre-orders for Surface Go 3 Wi-Fi only version with prices from 399 USD (about 9.1 million VND). The LTE version costs $100 more and is expected to hit shelves in the coming months.
