Sony launches Xperia 10 III Lite: Supports eSIM, Snapdragon 690, priced at VND 9.7 million

Today (August 21), Sony has quietly launched a new smartphone model in Japan, called Xperia 10 III Lite. Basically, this is considered a shortened version of the Xperia 10 III that the company introduced last month, with reduced storage capacity but added eSIM and more affordable price.

Specifically, Sony Xperia 10 III Lite has only 64GB memory option, half of 128GB on Xperia 10 III. However, the device still supports storage expansion via microSD card and keeps the RAM at 6GB.

Xperia 10 III Lite supports 5G network connectivity and dual SIM, including one physical SIM and one eSIM. The phone has removed the FM radio feature, but still retains the 3.5mm headphone jack on the top edge of the device.

The other specifications of the Xperia 10 III Lite are identical to those of the Xperia 10 III. The device owns a 6-inch OLED screen, Full HD + resolution, 21: 9 aspect ratio and HDR support. It uses Snapdragon 690 chip, comes with a 4500mAh battery, supports 30W fast charging via USB-C port, IP68 water and dust resistant.

Moving to the back, Xperia 10 III Lite is equipped with a cluster of 3 vertically arranged cameras, including a 12MP main sensor, an 8MP telephoto camera and an 8MP super wide-angle camera. In addition, the device also has an 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling.

As expected, Sony will start selling Xperia 10 III Lite in Japan from August 27. The phone retails at JPY 46,800 (about VND 9.7 million), comes with 4 color options are Black, White, Pink and Blue.
