Sony launches a cool new DualSense controller for PlayStation 5

Sony has just launched a new DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5 game console, with two cool colors. It’s a “Cosmic Red” color with a red and black combination, and a jet-black “Midnight Black” reminiscent of previous PS2, PS3 and PS4 generations.

So far, Sony has only had a white DualSense controller to match the PS5’s color. Therefore, the new color is what users are looking forward to, because white is not the favorite color of many gamers.

The new Midnight Black color of the DualSense controller uses two different black tones, one matte black and one glossy black. The Midnight Black handle is really impressive. Besides, the Cosmic Red color is also very prominent, if you want a highlight next to the white PS5 that looks quite monotonous.

Currently, Sony has only announced new colors for the DualSense controller. Although the PlayStation 5 can remove the outer protective plate, so it is likely that in the future Sony may also launch a new color option for the entire PS5 system.

Two DualSense controllers with new colors will officially go on sale next month. Midnight Black will sell for $69.99, while Cosmic Red will cost $74.99. Of course you’ll have to find a way to buy yourself a PS5 first, as the shortage is forecast by Sony to last until 2022.
