Sony is secretly researching the foldable drone, which makes it easy to capture large groups of people?

The patent shows that a drone has a compact design, is foldable and supports zoom far. Especially, the drone model in Sony’s patent also integrates Eye-AF technology (autofocus in eyes). This is the technology applied by Sony on its Alpha cameras.
Here are some pictures that describe the drone’s design and functionality:
This is the image of the drone when folded
The case on the drone is actually an LCD touch screen, so you can control the drone
Figure 29 illustrates how you can order a drone to zoom in and zoom out an object on the control unit
Sony’s drones promise to also be able to control gestures
When you are taking a group photo, you just need to automatically launch the drone from the palm of your hand. It will fly a sufficient distance to take group photos and then automatically return to the hand.
Sony is also said to be working on a huge drone model and it will look like this
Earlier, the Sony Alpha Rumors site discovered a Sony drone patent in October 2018. And this patent was filed on October 8, 2019 and has just been approved in January.
Of course these are just patents and there is no guarantee they can become commercial products. But it would be interesting if someday, Sony becomes a direct competitor to DJI in the drone market.
