Launched in Vietnam from 2019, Solve for Tomorrow is a creative playground for middle and high school students to apply technology to solve local problems.

This year, Solve For Tomorrow 2020 taking place in Vietnam is a playground for teenagers, but also a challenge for teachers and students in public schools from grades 6 to 12 to point out. how Engineering and Math can be used to help improve communities, or solve local problems.

This year’s contest sets a requirement to apply Robotics to research and build solutions to solve social or local problems, related to one or more fields such as: society, the environment, education, health and wellness, has attracted 262 schools with 708 teachers and 11,531 students participating.

Through 2 rounds of competitions, Solve for Tomorrow 2020 has attracted the participation of more than 13,000 students and 708 teachers at more than 90 schools in Vietnam. From nearly 400 exams received by the Organizing Committee in the Preliminary Round, 40 talented teams have been selected for the Product Development Round and 10 best teams have participated in the Final Round to compete for presentations. , run a model and answer the jury’s questions.

The technology solutions reached the final round all show their attractiveness and practicality, with topics such as: Building “Golden Time” application: Tech Up group’s solution for detecting falls, from Thai Nguyen province, won the third prize. The second prize belonged to the HNV group of Ben Tre Province with the solution of Equipment to trap aphids in vegetable fields using solar energy. The most belong to the Timeless group that smashed the challenge of Hanoi City with robot vehicle solutions for environmental exploration.
