Samsung is famous for many unique patents on mobile devices. Recently, the Korean electronics company has just revealed a unique patent, suggesting a few points about future smartphones according to its ideas.
The patent describes a Galaxy smartphone with two rounded edges on the top and bottom, in particular the device has almost no borders on the sides and only retains the tiny border above and below the device. The machine will even have 3 separate screens.
Specifically, according to the patent image, this device will have a main screen in the middle and two auxiliary screens semicircular in the upper and lower half. The main screen is significantly larger than the secondary screen.
These extra screens have many unique functions, including frequently used and frequently used application icons. It’s like a mobile wheel and users can move apps in the most convenient way.
If the software is well optimized, the two additional screens can completely cumulate more interesting functions, such as making a place to place the virtual gaming controller button.
Unlike smartphones with a drop screen or a hole, this device will have a small but circular shape.
Of course, this is just a patent and it is hard to know when this idea will become a reality as Samsung will definitely prioritize the safety of its smartphone designs at least for now.
