Samsung is currently the leading smartphone company in the foldable smartphone segment, with its Galaxy Z Fold series. Currently, Samsung has two lines of Galaxy Z Fold smartphones that fold horizontally and Galaxy Z Flip folds vertically. However, both have only one folding hinge. In the coming future, Samsung will upgrade its idea with a device with two foldable hinges, with the screen size when expanded equivalent to a tablet.
According to the latest leaked information, this foldable device will be called Galaxy Z Fold Tab, launched in Q1 / 2022. Galaxy Z Fold Tab will have three screen sections, with two hinges, which can transform from smartphones to tablets.
The Galaxy Z Fold Tab will also support Samsung’s new generation S-Pen hybrid pen. However, there is currently no information about this Bluetooth-enabled S-Pen from Samsung, except that it will be very different from the old S-Pen.
In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold Tab will also be launched with Samsung’s new generation of ultra-thin glass. This new generation of ultra-thin tempered glass will also be released with the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
This year, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in early August. Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be improved with a stiffer and more durable chassis, but lighter than the previous generation.
