Samsung will kill the Galaxy Note line next year, equipping the S Pen for Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Z Fold 3?

The S Pen is an accessory associated with Samsung’s Galaxy Note line, since the launch of the first model in 2011. At the same time, this is also what makes the biggest difference between the Galaxy S series and Galaxy Note, However, Samsung may soon change that in 2021.

According to a report from South Korean magazine The Elec, Samsung is likely to kill the Galaxy Note line next year, meaning that the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will be the last two models of this product line.

In addition, the source also said that Samsung is planning to bring the S Pen to the Galaxy S series, possibly the Galaxy S21 Ultra or the Galaxy S30 Ultra. If that happens, the Galaxy Note will become “redundant” because at the present time, the Note and S series smartphones do not have too many differences, except the S Pen.

After the death of the Galaxy Note, Samsung may shift its focus to the Fold line in the second half of 2021, and equip the S Pen for the successor model of the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
