Samsung may launch Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Pro and Galaxy Note22 Ultra

Tram Ho

Samsung will not completely kill off the Galaxy Note smartphone line, but will most likely merge the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note lines into one. The latest rumors say that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a new name, Galaxy Note22 Ultra, and be the successor of the Note20.

According to a source from Twitter Chun, Samsung is internally discussing the upcoming smartphone brand strategy. Accordingly, it is likely that Samsung will jointly launch the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Pro (actually S22+) and Galaxy Note22 Ultra (actually S22 Ultra).

Information leak expert OnLeaks, who recently revealed the design image of the Galaxy S22 smartphone, also confirmed the above information.

Galaxy S and Galaxy Note will merge into one

There is no word on whether Samsung will hold a separate event to launch the Galaxy Note series in the future. Instead, the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note will merge into one Samsung smartphone line, and will be launched at the same event. This event will be held around the beginning of the year, while around the end of the year there will be a separate event to launch the Galaxy Z Fold series.

This seems like a reasonable brand strategy, when Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold folding smartphone line has its own place in the market. Meanwhile, the difference between the two Galaxy S and Galaxy Note smartphone lines is increasingly blurred.

Galaxy Note22 Ultra will be a Galaxy S22 Ultra with an integrated S Pen. It also makes it easier for users to choose a suitable smartphone for themselves, no longer having to think about whether to choose Galaxy S Ultra or Galaxy Note Ultra.

Of course, these are still just leaked information and there has not been any confirmation from Samsung. There are still many months left until Samsung officially launches its new smartphones, so from now until the official event there may be many changes.
