Samsung increases Galaxy S22 series production by 20%, up to 30 million units

With the ongoing shortage of components, Samsung will face a challenge to ensure a stable supply of Galaxy S22. The CEO of Samsung Electronics personally visited the company’s production facility in Vietnam to ensure the supply of Galaxy S22 series.

However, it seems that currently Samsung is not having problems with the supply of components for the Galaxy S22 when recently, the Korean newspaper The Elec reported that Samsung has increased production of the Galaxy S22 series by 20%.

The company plans to produce a total of more than 30 million smartphones in the Galaxy S22 series. Including 12 million Galaxy S22, 8 million Galaxy S22+ and 10 million Galaxy S22 Ultra. It’s clear that Samsung doesn’t want stock shortages with the Galaxy S22 series.

It remains to be seen whether Samsung will actually sell all the 30 million smartphones it produces. The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ offer significant upgrades over their predecessors, and they’re relatively affordable compared to other premium offerings.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S22 Ultra can attract users of the Note series, which have been waiting for quite a long time because there are no new products in 2021. However, this is also a big gamble for Samsung because of the basic Galaxy S22 Ultra. As a Galaxy Note, this may make fans of the Galaxy S21 Ultra series think before buying.
