Samsung has stated many times before that it will improve the situation, but its efforts have not brought remarkable results. In its latest strategy, Samsung hopes 5G devices will help them improve the smartphone business situation in China.

Samsung hopes 5G will bring them new opportunities in the Chinese market

The Korean tech giant recently launched the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G in China. Next, it seems that it will also release the Galaxy Fold 5G version for this market next month. In addition, a high-end flip phone has been prepared by Samsung for this market (of course there is 5G support). Apparently, Samsung has a few 5G smartphones expected to hit the Chinese market this year.

The Galaxy Note 10+ 5G is just the beginning for Samsung entering China’s 5G smartphone market. Hopefully new products will help Samsung regain its leading role in China.

It’s not clear why Samsung believes 5G models will give it an edge over other manufacturers. Chinese OEMs have quickly adapted to market trends and released devices that compete with Samsung and Apple. Many Chinese companies have begun selling or planning to release 5G smartphones.
