Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 may launch with S Pen Pro

After many leaks, an FCC filing has finally confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will support Samsung’s stylus. And more than just an S Pen, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will support S Pen Pro, a larger, bluetooth-enabled version, as well as gesture controls.

The S Pen Pro was first mentioned by Samsung in January, but did not reveal an official launch date. It is very likely that Samsung will launch the S Pen Pro during the Unpacked event of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

The S Pen Pro will not only support the Galaxy Z Fold 3, but will also support the Galaxy S21 Ultra and Samsung’s Note20, Note10 and Galaxy Tab tablets. You can see the support list in the image below, taken from FCC filings.

However, the S Pen Pro may not be included in the box with the Galaxy Z Fold 3. According to a leaked image by Evan Blass, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will come with an S Pen Fold Edition pen. It is possible that the S Pen Pro will be sold separately.

Samsung’s next Unpacked event will be held on August 11. During this event, Samsung will launch a series of products including Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, two new Galaxy Watches and new Galaxy Buds.
