Samsung and Viettel signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote digital transformation

On October 7, 2021, Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel) and Samsung Vina Electronics Company, representing Samsung Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement on comprehensive development of 5G telecommunications equipment and information technology solutions to accelerate the digital transformation process for individuals and organizations in Vietnam.

Cooperation towards building a national digital economy

As the two leading technology-capable organizations in the region, Samsung and Viettel have reached many important cooperation agreements around core issues of: research and development of equipment, telecommunications network infrastructure 5G throughput; establish a commercial program to popularize 4G/5G equipment to individuals and households.
