The existence of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra version is still a big question mark. The first leaked sources reveal that Samsung will only launch the Note 20 and Note 20+, without the most advanced version being the Note 20 Ultra. However, Ice Universe recently confirmed that Samsung will launch Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with many worthwhile upgrades and improvements.
According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm’s unreleased Snapdragon 865+ processor. Last year, the Snapdragon 855+ chip was improved by Qualcomm’s graphics processing performance by 15% compared to the Snapdragon 855, so the Snapdragon 865+ may also have the same upgrade as the Snapdragon 865.
Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will have the same design as last year’s Note 10+.
In other markets around the world, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra may be powered by an Exynos 992. It is a processor manufactured by Samsung on the 6nm process, somewhere between the 7nm process of the Snapdragon 865. and Apple’s upcoming Anm Bionic 5nm process.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will also have an upgrade to the screen compared to the Galaxy S20 Ultra. It supports QuadHD + 1440p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate works at the same time. Samsung will also use the new LTPO panel, which saves more battery when the screen runs at 120Hz.
Ice Universe also revealed that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will feature new camera features and a new S-Pen stylus, but it’s not clear what the improvements are. The tipster also revealed that the design of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be similar to last year’s Note 10+.
If launched, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will likely feature a 6.9-inch curved AMOLED screen, a 20: 9 aspect ratio, 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB of storage and a maximum of 512GB. Due to the internal S-Pen design, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra may not come with a battery that is too large of 5,000 mAh, instead it could just be a 4,500 mAh battery.
