(Rumor) There will be a black Apple Pencil

According to a new source, the next-generation Apple Pencil will have a black option. Currently, the Apple Pencil is only white, and the most recent upgrade was from 2018 with the iPad Pro.

A collector of Apple hardware devices, whose Twitter account is Mr. white, posted a new statement saying “The new Apple Pencil will be black”. However, this source has not been confirmed and still lacks other details.

We don’t yet know when the new Apple Pencil will be released, and how things will change. Based on the 3-year refresh cycle, launched in 2015 and then upgraded to the second generation in 2018, analysts predict the 3rd generation Apple Pencil will be launched in 2021.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also predicts that Apple will launch a new iPad mini LED by 2021. It is likely that this iPad will be launched with the new Apple Pencil.
