The actual image is said to be that of Redmi K40

The series of photos actually shows that the Redmi K40 will have a hole-punch screen, with the “mole” to accommodate the selfie camera placed in the center. Previously, CEO of Redmi – Mr. Lu Weibing once confidently confirmed that the K40 will have the smallest “hole” ever, with a diameter of only 2.8mm. However, the bezels on all four sides of the machine are still relatively thick, especially on the bottom edge.

In the last month, Lu Weibing also revealed that the Redmi K40 will use the Snapdragon 888 processor, of which the high-end version will cost from 2999 yuan (about 10.6 million). Rumor has it that the standard model will be sold for less than 2,000 yuan (~ 7.1 million). It is known that the Redmi K40 series will have at least two models – perhaps the Redmi K40 and the Redmi K40 Pro.

Redmi K40 Pro will be the first smartphone under the Redmi brand to be equipped with a 108MP camera. Recent information suggests that the standard Redmi K40 will use a Snapdragon 870 processor. Both phones will have 4000mAh batteries, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 memory.

On the other hand, the Redmi K40 will also have an OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 6.81 inch size and 2K resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels). Some reports say they will probably use the same panels as the Xiaomi Mi 11.
