Xiaomi has started selling the Redmi K30 Ultra – the company’s 10th anniversary smartphone, following its launch earlier this week. The device uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ processor, owns 120Hz refresh rate screen, 64MP main camera, indented selfie camera and is sold at a starting price from 1999 yuan (about 6.7 million).
With its powerful specs and extremely affordable price tag, it’s no surprise that the Redmi K30 Ultra goes out of stock after just 1 minute of opening, with a total of 100,000 devices sold in the first sale. August 14.
Besides the Redmi K30 Ultra, Xiaomi also launched a flagship model during its 10th anniversary event, called the Mi 10 Ultra. However, both of these phones are exclusive to China, and won’t be sold anywhere else in the world.
In terms of specifications, Redmi K30 Ultra has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.1 internal memory.
Redmi K30 Ultra is equipped with a 64MP + 13MP + 5MP + 2MP quad-camera system on the back, as well as a 20MP pop-up selfie camera on the front. The device comes with a 4500mAh capacity battery, supports 33W fast charging via USB-C port, integrated fingerprint sensor under the screen, dual speakers and pre-installed Android 10 operating system with MIUI 12 interface when sold. .
