realme will introduce “world’s fastest smartphone charging technology” on February 28

realme is one of the brands attending the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona and here we will see the GT2 series make its global debut. However, the company will bring much more – realme recently confirmed it will also introduce “the fastest smartphone charging technology in the world”.

Realme’s previous fastest charging technology, UltraDart 125W, was announced in 2021, but the company has never put it on a commercially available smartphone.

We do not know the actual capacity of the new charger that realme is about to announce. However, it will most likely be around 165W as nubia is preparing to reach that capacity with the upcoming Red Magic 7 Pro.

As for the realme GT2 series, this series has been launched in the Chinese market and MWC will be the time when the company introduces it to the world market. GT2 has Snapdragon 888 chip, 6.62-inch Full HD + AMOLED screen, 5,000 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. The back has a 50MP main camera + 8MP ultra-wide angle camera + 2MP macro camrea. The device has a 16MP selfie camera.

realme GT2 Pro is equipped with a 6.7-inch screen, QHD + resolution. This screen uses a “mole” design with a 32MP selfie camera. The rear camera cluster consists of three lenses: 50MP wide-angle (Sony IMX766), 50MP ultra-wide angle with a field of view up to 150 degrees, and a microscope lens (resolution unknown) with 40X magnification similar to on OPPO Find X3 series. The device is equipped with Snapdragon 888 Gen 1 chip, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB internal memory. The battery comes with a capacity of 5000mAh, supports 65W fast charging.
