Today (25/5), Realme – OPPO sub-brand has just launched a new headset model in India, full name is Realme Buds Air Neo. Basically, this is considered a shortened version of the Realme Buds Air that the company introduced in December last year, owns the same design but comes with a few hardware changes.

Realme Buds Air Neo supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and is able to quickly pair with other devices through Google’s proprietary Fast Pair technology. Inside, the headset is equipped with a 13mm driver and dedicated R1 chip, ensuring the connection process between the phone and Buds Air Neo becomes faster, more stable.

According to the manufacturer’s announcement, Realme Buds Air Neo can meet up to 3 hours of use after a full charge. When combined with a charging case, the maximum battery life can be up to 17 hours. Unlike the Buds Air, however, the Buds Air Neo’s charging case uses the MicroUSB port and lacks wireless charging.

In addition to the aforementioned features, Realme’s new headset also supports gesture control such as double-clicking to answer a call, tap to play / pause the music player, and tap three times to play the next song. , press and hold one side to end the call or activate the voice assistant.

The headset has a built-in optical sensor that detects the position of the headset, thus pausing music when the user takes it out of the ear and continuing to play when worn again. And yet, Buds Air Neo also has a game mode, which helps improve connectivity and reduce latency by 50% compared to the normal mode. Users only need to hold both sides of the headset to turn on / off this mode.
